Palo Duro moved up to 395 from 445 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 4A Region I District 3. The Dons climbed the ranks as a result of topping Borger 37-0.
Palo Duro took down the Bulldogs 37-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kendrick Buckingham threw for 133 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win.
Steve Parr's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Anthony McClain chipped in 129 yards. McClain helped Palo Duro's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 57 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Caprock's Victor Rodriguez and Austin Cruz have proven to be a lethal combination. Rodriguez has thrown for 1,057 yards this season, while Cruz has 21 catches for 295 yards. McClain from Palo Duro leads the league in rushing with 453 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Randall takes on Canyon. The Raiders are currently in third, while the Eagles are in second.
The Dons made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,701 from 4,316. The improvement was the result of a 37-0 victory over Rusty Purser's team last week.
