Sadly, that's the two time they've come up short against the Vikings, as the also lost their prior matchup 41-40 last Thursday.
Despite the loss, Herlong still got an impressive performance from Thomas Wolf, who posted 22 points and six rebounds. Gauge Carrier was another key player, putting up 14 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Big Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Connor Kenobbie, who made all 8 shots he took racking up 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Leif Lewis, who had 15 points.
Herlong's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Big Valley, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Herlong will welcome Paradise Adventist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Herlong has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Big Valley, they will challenge Surprise Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
