Manchester Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Strohman, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Brendan Luddy was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Manchester Valley's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4. As for Winters Mill, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Manchester Valley will head out on the road to face off against Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty is on a four-game streak of home wins, Manchester Valley a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Winters Mill will take on Francis Scott Key at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Francis Scott Key is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
