After a big victory against Windsor two weeks ago, Hillsboro came back down to earth. Hillsboro ended up on the wrong side of a painful 12-34 walloping at North County's hands. Hillsboro's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, DeSoto were able to grind out a solid win over Fredericktown last Friday, winning 51-41.
Everything went Hillsboro's way against DeSoto the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 36-15 victory.
