Charlestown has been away from home for two games now, but  on Friday they'll finally make their return. They will welcome the North Harrison Cougars  at 7:00  p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  both  posted some lofty  point totals in their previous games.
 Last Friday, Charlestown humbled  Clarksville with  a  35-6 victory.
 Charlestown relied on the efforts of   Boomer Hester, who rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and   Ryan Shields, who rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in  rushing yards.
 Charlestown wouldn't let Clarksville keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as  Cameron Wimsett,  Blake Thacker, and  Jacob Hulsey picked up one apiece. With that strong performance,  Thacker is now averaging an impressive 6  total tackles per game.
 Meanwhile, North Harrison earned  a  48-35 win over Corydon Central  on Friday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Cougars.
  Bryce Fessel was a one-man wrecking crew for North Harrison as he rushed for 334 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry.
 Fessel wasn't the only one working in the  rushing yards department: North Harrison was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 508  rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Corydon Central only rushed for 273.
 North Harrison's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of  Grayson Clunie and  David Langdon.
 Charlestown's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for North Harrison, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
