Branson didn't get the result they wanted in their first game with Moreau Catholic on Friday. They put up a good fight, but they still had to settle for second after a 2-1 defeat on Friday.
Meanwhile, Marin Catholic kept a clean sheet against Salesian College Preparatory on Saturday. They had just enough and edged Salesian College Preparatory out 1-0.
Branson now has a losing record at 6-7-2. As for Marin Catholic, they pushed their record up to 2-8-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Branson suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Marin Catholic in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Branson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
