They breezed by David Posnack Jewish Day at home to the tune of 48-19. Winning may never get old, but Saint Andrew's sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Leading Saint Andrew's to victory were Emma Smith and Delaney Beighley. Smith scored 13 points along with nine steals, while Beighley scored 23 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Beighley has scored at least 25% of Saint Andrew's points. Savanna Smith was another key contributor, scoring four points along with three steals.
Saint Andrew's has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Saint Andrew's and Calvary Christian Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Calvary Christian Academy has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 4. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, they will be playing at home against Scheck Hillel Community School at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
