Boise scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Centennial, 29-27. At the time, the Patriots were ranked 16th in the state, while the Braves were 45th.
Borah was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after losing to Eagle. The Lions came in at 22 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
Cole Skinner threw for 303 yards and 3 touchdowns. He went 27-50 with 1 interception.
Skinner put up the best numbers through the air as Borah lost to the Mustangs. Skinner's favorite target this week was Montana Bilger, who caught 8 passes for 109 yards.
Leading 5A Southern Idaho in both passing and receiving yards, Darren Corpus' team's Skinner and Kion Williams have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-4 quarterback Skinner has thrown for 1,288 yards this season, while Williams has 26 catches for 371 yards. Conner Poulson from Capital leads the league in rushing with 423 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Centennial and Mountain View. Lee Neumann's team enters the contest ranked 24th in the state, while the Mavericks ranks 12th.
Timberline was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fourth in the league. The Wolves beat Vallivue 36-30 earlier in the week.
