 Hillman didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Ethan Deville and  Crane. Crane's receiving production has been exceptional  recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 112  receiving yards. He got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
Rogers City had taken Alcona down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end  on Friday. The  game between the Hurons and the Tigers didn't end well, with the Hurons falling  34-20. That's two games in a row now that the Hurons have lost by  exactly 14  points.
 Hillman will have to keep a close watch on  Sam Whitford and  Bryan McKinstry, a pair of players who had a big impact on Rogers City's prior game. Whitford gained 133 total yards and a touchdown, while  McKinstry threw for 209 yards and one  TD.
 Rogers City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hillman, they suffered their first home  loss, dropping their record down to 5-3.
