Nevil Made His Presence Known in Sports Leadership & Management's 42-6 Win
Starting off the list is Sports Leadership & Management's Damien Nevil, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Nevil rushed for 131 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 55 yards.
Boulder City had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Nevil it was a similar story. Nevil rushed for 187 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in October of 2023.

Another Game with at Least Three Passing Touchdowns from Kayne Horibe
Kayne Horibe continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least three passing touchdowns. He threw for 190 yards and five touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 80 yards on only six carries.
The victory got Pahrump Valley back to even at 4-4. Horibe and Pahrump Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Boulder City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Drew Dixon and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
Drew Dixon's big game helped extend Virgin Valley's winning streak to five on Friday. Dixon turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 120 yards and three touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 120 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Dixon and Virgin Valley will be playing at home against Moapa Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dixon will face off against Caden Rawson, the Pirates' star running back. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Young Came Up Big in Sports Leadership & Management's 42-6 Win
The second Sports Leadership & Management player making an appearance here is Alaijah Young, and for good reason. He rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 42 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes.
For the year, Young has thrown 6 touchdowns while averaging 120.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 15.56 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 69.33 rushing yards.

Decker Lee was instrumental in extending Virgin Valley's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Lee as he rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making five total tackles.
Mater Academy East Las Vegas had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Lee it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Lee saw the Knights), he rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns.
