Sophomore Joe Dunn, who rushed for 230 yards and 3 touchdowns, was a major factor in the success. Junior Peyton Brones was in the mix, too, providing Colorado Springs Christian with 3 touchdowns.
The defeat dropped Sheridan's record to 0-2. The win got Colorado Springs Christian out to a 1-0 start for the season.
Next week, Sheridan take on Wray at 1:00 PM. Sheridan continues their travels as they hit the road for the second straight game. Colorado Springs Christian are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Peyton next week at 7:00 PM.
