The biggest upset of the week belonged to Harmony, who took down 229th ranked Gateway, 15-13.
Osceola extended the longest winning streak in 7A District 6 this week by beating Liberty, 43-6. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Celebration's dynamic duo of Quentin Lewis and Johnny Victor proved tough for St. Cloud to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Lewis threw for 57 yards and Victor had 83 yards receiving. Chayse Meierkort helped Celebration's passing attack out by catching one ball for 15 yards.
Zachary Smith was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 163 yards on 20 carries as the Panthers lost to the Bulldogs. Theo Belhomme also contributed to the rushing game with 20 yards on the ground.
Celebration's William Santry and Victor have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Santry has thrown for 725 yards this season, while Victor, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 25 catches for 484 yards. Gateway's Smith leads the league in rushing yards with 1355.
The top two teams in 7A District 6 will face off this week when first place Osceola takes on second place Gateway. Osceola topped the Chargers last week, while Gene Mitchell's team fell to the Longhorns.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Panthers take on Doug Nichols' team. Gateway has allowed 73 points this season, while the Kowboys have given up 48. The Panthers allowed 15 points last week as they lost to Harmony.
There should be lots of points scored when Gateway and Osceola face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Panthers comes in having scored 231 this season, while the Kowboys have scored 276. Gateway scored 13 points last week as it fell to Jerrad Butler's team.
The Longhorns moved up to 332 from 380 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Harmony climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Panthers 15-13.
