Tonopah Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sir-Izzik Sanchez-Caldwell, who scored eight points.
Luke Morgan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, scoring 23 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Morgan has scored at least a third of Scottsdale Preparatory Academy's points. Kellen Palmer was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Tonopah Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-12.
