The Fairview Tigers lost against the Iroquois Braves back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Fairview fell just short of the Braves by a score of 43-41.
Iroquois got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Devin Brink out in front who scored seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Orlando Brown, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Iroquois, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Fairview will square off against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northwestern is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Iroquois, they will be playing at home against the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Seneca is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
