Leading Spencer to victory were Naomi Berk and Alexandria Berk. Berk scored 22 points along with nine steals, while Berk scored 28 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Berk has scored all season. Nadra Rosser was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Academy for Classical Education's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sara Rhett Farmer, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. That was a full 48.3% of Academy for Classical Education's points, marking the 12th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of ArMyah Smathers, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds.
Spencer's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Academy for Classical Education, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
