The Bethel-Tate Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 47-36 to West Union. Bethel-Tate was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
It was another big night for Ashlah Staten, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and two steals for West Union. Staten hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Madison Stout, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Bethel-Tate has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for West Union, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12.
Bethel-Tate will square off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Union, they will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lynchburg-Clay has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 314 points over their last five contests.
