Wyoming Valley West took down Hazleton 42-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Spartans led Wyoming Valley 4A in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on the Cougars.
Hazleton's Julius Ward and Devion Barlow have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Ward has thrown for 501 yards this season, while Barlow, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has nine catches for 122 yards. Devin Miller from Williamsport leads the league in rushing with 596 yards.
Wyoming Valley West made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,822 from 2,019. The improvement was the result of 42-12 victory over the Cougars last week.
