Fort Loramie is a perfect 3-0 against New Bremen since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Redskins will be playing at home against the Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. The last three games Fort Loramie has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
On Thursday, Fort Loramie had just enough and edged out Anna 13-12.
Kendall Tennery was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Mya Salisbury and Macy Schafer did most of the damage at the plate: Salisbury went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI, while Schafer went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave Schafer a new career-high.
Fort Loramie kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, New Bremen can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over Perry. Considering the Cardinals' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Like Fort Loramie, New Bremen also got a great game from a two-way player: Lydia Bushman. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Bushman was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Olivia Thornton was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Halle Kuenning was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Fort Loramie is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for New Bremen, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.
Fort Loramie took their win against New Bremen in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 9-3 score. Will the Redskins repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
