Bethel Christian Academy is a perfect 3-0 against IC Imagine since April of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders are taking a road trip to challenge the IC Imagine Kingfishers at 4:00 p.m. Bethel Christian Academy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games dating back to last season.

Last Monday, Bethel Christian Academy got the win against Mountain View Christian Academy by a conclusive 10-2. Fans of the Crusaders have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Dylan Smith made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out 13 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Smith was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, Logan Hughes was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Jon McMahan, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Bethel Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mountain View Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .296.

Meanwhile, IC Imagine came up short against Asheville School (Independent) on Thursday and fell 12-9.

IC Imagine dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bethel Christian Academy, their record is now 3-0.

Bethel Christian Academy took their victory against IC Imagine when the teams last played last Tuesday by a conclusive 18-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bethel Christian Academy since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
