Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central Valley Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caden Lloyd, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. Lloyd has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. Erick Estrella was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Central Valley Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-10.
Kennedy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Shafter at 6:30 p.m. Shafter is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Central Valley Christian, Central Valley Christian and Exeter will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Exeter is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
