Baseball Recap: Wellington Wins Going Away Against Boca Raton

After losing to Boca Raton the last time they met, Wellington decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Everything went the Wellington Wolverines' way against the Boca Raton Bobcats on Tuesday as the Wellington Wolverines made off with a 15-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

Wellington got a great performance from Greysn Bogdanchik as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. The dominant performance gave Bogdanchik a new career-high in strikeouts.

At the plate, Brett Hobbs was a standout: he scored a run while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Colten Pride, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Wellington's record now sits at 2-0.
