Clinton Prairie had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Frankfort Hot Dogs by a score of 51-38. The Gophers haven't had any issues with the Hot Dogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clinton Prairie will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Sheridan at 7:30 p.m. on December 5. The contest will give the Gophers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Frankfort, they will take on Heritage Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
