The Patrick Henry Patriots will venture away from home to face off against the Lincoln Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Patrick Henry will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
Patrick Henry barely beat University City the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Centurions on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Patriots have posted against the Centurions since August 23, 2018.
The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-19.

Patrick Henry can attribute much of their success to Sidney Villalobos-Alderman, who had four digs and three aces, and Ashlynn Kirchoff, who had ten digs. Those three aces gave Villalobos-Alderman a new career-high. Ada Parker also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Patrick Henry was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 11 consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Lincoln suffered their biggest defeat since September 30th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to La Jolla. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
While Lincoln ultimately came up short, they really made La Jolla work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 26-24, 25-12.
Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Patrick Henry, their victory bumped their record up to 22-11.
Everything went Patrick Henry's way against Lincoln in their previous matchup back in September, as Patrick Henry made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
