Ribault has been on the road for three straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Spruce Creek Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The pair are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.
Ribault suffered their closest defeat since December 8, 2023 on Thursday. They fell just short of Andrew Jackson by a score of 49-46. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ribault has scored all season.
Ribault's defeat came about despite a quality game from Caleb Williams, who scored 32 points. That was a full 69.6% of Ribault's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Spruce Creek pushed their score all the way to 55 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Father Lopez by a score of 58-55. Spruce Creek has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ribault's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Spruce Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.
Everything went Ribault's way against Spruce Creek when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as Ribault made off with a 86-61 win. Does Ribault have another victory up their sleeve, or will Spruce Creek turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
