East Buchanan and Lathrop are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The East Buchanan Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Lathrop Mules at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. East Buchanan will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while Lathrop is ranked 19th).
East Buchanan unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak two weeks ago. They received a tough blow as they fell 57-41 to Lawson.
Meanwhile, Lathrop can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They blew past Cameron 60-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Lathrop has posted since December 4, 2023.
East Buchanan's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Lathrop, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-0.
East Buchanan suffered a grim 42-20 defeat to Lathrop in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can East Buchanan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
