After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Palo Verde, Durango was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Trailblazers haven't had any issues with the Mountain Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

While Durango won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14, 28-26.

Durango's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Sierra Vista, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Durango and Sierra Vista will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Trailblazers are set to square off against their familiar foe Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Sierra Vista will face off against rival Desert Oasis at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
