After a string of three wins, the Altoona-Midway Jets's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They took a   60-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Southeast. Altoona-Midway has struggled against Southeast recently, as their  match on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
 Altoona-Midway lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   William Stackhouse, who  scored 23 points along with eight  rebounds and four  steals. Stackhouse is absolutely dominating the  steal category: he's  posted at least two every time he's  taken the court this season.  Jacob Meigs was another key contributor,  scoring 15 points along with three  steals and three  blocks.
 Altoona-Midway's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Southeast, their victory  ended a three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-7.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Altoona-Midway will take on Pleasanton at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Pleasanton's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last five contests. As for Southeast, they will stay at home for another  game and welcome Jayhawk Linn at 7:30  p.m.  on January 26th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Kansas (Jayhawk Linn is ranked 332nd, while Southeast is ranked 308th).
