Patrick Henry found their leader in underclassman Sophie Guelde, who scored 12 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Guelde has scored all season. Carys Crossland was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Patrick Henry has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Evergreen, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patrick Henry on the road again on Monday and play against Elmwood at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Elmwood will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 655th, while Patrick Henry is ranked 214th). As for Evergreen, they will head out on the road to take on Edgerton at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
