Mo Hussein Earns League's Top Spot
 Starting off the list is Deer Trail's  Mo Hussein, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hussein forced a fumble and made ten total tackles. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made ten total tackles.
 This season,  Hussein  has averaged 11 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he had three  rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to ten.

Tyler Decker and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
 Hanover picked up their fifth consecutive win   on Saturday thanks in part to  Tyler Decker. Bethune had no answer to  Decker  as he threw for 53 yards and a touchdown.
 Unfortunately for Bethune, this isn't the first big game they've seen from  Decker. Back in September of 2023 (the last time  Decker saw the Bobcats), he threw for 147 yards and five touchdowns on only 11 passes.

 Manzanola had to settle for second  on Friday, but  Craig Pittmann sure wasn't going down easily. Nobody could stop  Pittmann as he rushed for 50 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 45 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Manzanola dropped their record down to 2-4 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road. Pittmann and Manzanola will take on Kiowa at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Jayden Mingee Delivers Best  Effort of Season
 On Friday, Deer Trail got the W thanks in part to  Jayden Mingee playing the best football he has all season. Mingee picked up 113 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 74 yards.
 This season,  Mingee  has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 59.4 receiving yards per game.
