The victory was a step in the right direction for the Tigers, who were coming off a 35-14 defeat at the hands of Wharton in its previous game.
Sealy (4-3) will play a 3A Region IV District 25 game against Columbus next week, while Needville (0-5) will take on Columbus also in a 3A Region IV District 25 game.
