The Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans will be playing at home against the Mendocino Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Rio Lindo Adventist and four for Mendocino.
Last Tuesday, Rio Lindo Adventist lost to Summerfield Waldorf at home by a decisive 56-40 margin.
Despite the defeat, Rio Lindo Adventist got a solid performance out of Hunter McNunn, who scored 18 points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that McNunn scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Campbell, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Mendocino came up short against Round Valley on Friday and fell 50-38.
Rio Lindo Adventist's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6. As for Mendocino, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
