Basketball Recap: Monache Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Golden West came into Friday's match looking for another win against Monache, but Ty Baxter wouldn't allow it. The Monache Marauders took down the Golden West Trailblazers 69-54 on Friday thanks in part to Baxter, who went 13 for 22 en route to 37 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Monache's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of E'Saun Jefferson, who posted 17 points and five boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (four).

Monache pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points per game. As for Golden West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.

Monache wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-49 loss against Central Valley Christian on the 18th. As for Golden West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-38 win against Exeter on the 18th.
