Volleyball Recap: Pleasanton Snags Sixth Victory in Last Seven Games

Arcadia/Loup City came into Saturday's match looking for another win against Pleasanton, but Lily Chandler wouldn't allow it. The Bulldogs skirted past the Rebels 2-1 thanks in part to Chandler, who had 16 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Pleasanton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-15, 25-22.

Pleasanton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Arcadia/Loup City, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-9.

Pleasanton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Giltner on the 25th. As for Arcadia/Loup City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Gibbon on the 23rd.
