At the plate, Dracut saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Azaria Lopez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Aiva Pitman also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Milford had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Mansfield a 12-0 shutout on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won three games by eight runs or more so far this season.
The result came thanks to Lauren Williams's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up six Ks.
On the hitting side, Milford got a massive performance out of Ava Baglione, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits Baglione has posted since back in May of 2025. Liana Chiccarelli was another key player, going 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
Milford kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Milford's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-4. As for Dracut, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7-2.
