After losing to the D'Evelyn Jaguars the last time they met, the Vista PEAK Prep Bison decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Vista PEAK Prep took their match on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 86-53 victory over D'Evelyn. The win made it back-to-back wins for Vista PEAK Prep.
Vista PEAK Prep can attribute much of their success to Kyree Polk, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Alante Monroe-elazier, who scored 19 points along with 6 rebounds.
Vista PEAK Prep's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for D'Evelyn, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Vista PEAK Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Greeley Central at 5:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for D'Evelyn, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Steamboat Springs at 1:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Hopefully Steamboat Springs focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
