Noble-Whitley Warriors had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 58-49 win over Kokomo HomeSchool. This was payback for Noble-Whitley Warriors, who suffered a 72-52 defeat the last time these two teams met.
It was another big night for Caidyn Berna, who scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The matchup was his 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colt Kirkpatrick, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds.
Noble-Whitley Warriors' victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Kokomo HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Noble-Whitley Warriors will take on Fort Wayne HomeSchool at 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Fort Wayne HomeSchool focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 back in December of 2023. As for Kokomo HomeSchool, they will be playing at home against Suburban Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
