Pueblo East got a massive performance out of Devin Dalton, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double. Those three runs gave Dalton a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emilee Hutchings, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and two doubles.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Pueblo East kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Coronado only managed four hits.
Pueblo East will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Widefield at 3:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Coronado, they have already played their next contest, a 13-12 win against Doherty on the 19th.
