The Oakleaf Knights will head out on the road to take on the Bartram Trail Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Oakleaf heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup last Tuesday. They fell just short of Forest by a score of 4-3. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Bartram Trail had lost two consecutive heartbreakers to Tocoi Creek and they left with a heavy heart again last Wednesday. The Bears fell 5-1 to the Toros. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Toros recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

On the hitting side, Bartram Trail saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Labbe, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Oakleaf has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Bartram Trail struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.4 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
