Evangelical Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let North Florida Christian get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. Considering the Sentinels have won 20 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Hayden Billie tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Evangelical Christian let Anayeli Guzman and Samantha Yzaguirre run wild. Guzman went 1-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Yzaguirre went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Guzman has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Billie, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Evangelical Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in ten consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Geneva was able to grind out a solid victory over Miami Christian on Tuesday, taking the game 10-7.
The team relied heavily on Chloe Incinelli, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Ella Ingram, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Geneva's win bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Evangelical Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 27-3.
Evangelical Christian's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's game. The Sentinels have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.3 stolen bases per game.
