Basketball Recap: Sullivan Skates Past Greencastle with Ease

Sullivan came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 65-37 win over the Greencastle Tiger Cubs. The Golden Arrows have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Bailey Brown and Emily Hunsinger certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Brown dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 boards, while Hunsinger posted five points and ten rebounds. Brown continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Sullivan pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Greencastle, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Sullivan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-57 loss against Staunton on the 26th. As for Greencastle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-24 win against South Vermillion on the 23rd.
