Covenant Day will be up against a hot Charlotte Country Day School squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Charlotte Country Day School took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 73-24 victory over Mountain View Prep. Given the Buccaneers' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 70th in North Carolina, while the Stars are ranked 243rd in South Carolina), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Olive Bigham continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 24 points. The game was her third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Vanderhave, who posted 11 points.

Meanwhile, Covenant Day came into Saturday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They claimed a resounding 59-10 win over South Charlotte. That looming 59-10 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lions yet this season.

Charlotte Country Day School has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Covenant Day, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.
