Trego won the last time they faced Russell and Bailey Ziegler did her part to make sure it happened again. The Golden Eagles walked away with a 62-50 victory over the Broncos on Friday with plenty of help from Ziegler, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. She is becoming a predictor of Trego's success: when she posts at least eight boards the team is 6-3 (and 4-7 when she doesn't).
The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Day, who posted 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. She is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games she's played.
