It was a good run, but  Mt. Rainier unfortunately witnessed the end of their  five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Kentwood Conquerors by a score of  3-2. The Rams were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Conquerors from their previous meeting  back in April of 2024.
 Mt. Rainier saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Nolan Enghusen, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.  Jack Kelly also deserves some recognition as  he  scored his first  run of the season.
Mt. Rainier's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Kentwood, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record  this season.
While Mt. Rainier had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
