The Uintah Utes will challenge the Orem Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Uintah comes in on four and Orem on three.
Uintah is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Summit Academy 19-1 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Utes, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Abbie Davis made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Davis was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Leena Sharp was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kynlee Bristol, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with three runs.
Uintah was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .421. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in nine consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Orem was able to grind out a solid victory over Wasatch on Monday, taking the game 12-9.
Orem got a massive performance out of Jaileigh DeMaria, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Louise Allen, who went 3-for-5 with one home run and three RBI.
Uintah's win bumped their record up to 10-2-1. As for Orem, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Orem's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Uintah has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.8 hits per game. It's a different story for Orem, though, as they've been averaging 9.3 hits. Given Uintah's sizable advantage in that area, the Tigers will need to find a way to close that gap.
Uintah got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Orem by a conclusive 8-0 score. Will the Utes repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
