Mora is 9-1 against McCurdy since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Rangers/Rangerettes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bobcats at 3:00 p.m. One thing working in Mora's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last nine matchups.
On Monday, Mora got the win against Clayton by a conclusive 19-4. The Rangers/Rangerettes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by seven runs or more this season.
Cierra Benavidez made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Mora got a big performance out of Morgan Benjamin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. Those two hits gave Benjamin a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jazzlyn Duran, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
Mora always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .793. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in seven consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, McCurdy posted their closest win since April 11th on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Wingate, sneaking past 8-7.
The team relied heavily on Karina Archuleta, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.
Mora is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.4 runs over those games. As for McCurdy, their win bumped their record up to 8-15.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Mora hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .422. However, it's not like McCurdy struggles in that department as they've averaged .419. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Mora took their victory against McCurdy when the teams last played on Wednesday by a conclusive 18-1 score. Will the Rangers/Rangerettes repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
