Despite the loss, Faith Christian still got an impressive performance from Max Bryan, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Chad Oakley, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Faith Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season. As for Buckingham Charter, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Christian will take on Cristo Rey at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Cristo Rey is coming into the match with six straight defeats on the road, meaning Faith Christian will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Buckingham Charter, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Western Sierra Collegiate Academy at 7:30 p.m. on February 3rd. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six games -- so hopefully Buckingham Charter likes a good challenge.
