It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Crismon had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Dysart Demons 3-0. The win was familiar territory for the Rattlers, who have now won three contests in a row.
One reason for the win was Crismon's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-16.
Micah Joynes paced Crismon's offense, picking up 15 kills. Joynes got some help from Regis Rogers and his 37 assists. Jaxson Bales controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Despite the loss, Dysart still got an impressive performance from Pao Apistar, who had 14 digs. Apistar is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games he's played.
Crismon's victory bumped their record up to 23-10. As for Dysart, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7.
Crismon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against ALA - Queen Creek on the 12th. Dysart does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
