Brendin Hodges was dynamite on Thursday, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with six or more strikeouts. On the season, he has an ERA of 2.39 over 44 innings pitched.

Hodges' effort led Glenn over Tippecanoe Valley and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons are 9-1 against the Vikings going back to April of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
