Softball Recap: Bloomsburg Wins Going Away Against Millville

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Milton, Bloomsburg was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Millville Quakers 20-1. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Quakers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Bloomsburg got a massive performance out of Mya Coyne, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Coyne a new career-high. Jenna Lykon was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Bloomsburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .844. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Bloomsburg's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Millville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomsburg will take on Warrior Run at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Millville, they will face off against Benton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
