The Rogers Eagles lost against the Lexington Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Rogers took a 48-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. That's two games in a row now that Rogers has lost by exactly 12 points.
It was another big night for Maya Bell, who scored 34 points along with five steals for Lexington. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bell has scored all season. Another player making a difference was KK Crawford, who scored five points along with three steals.
Rogers has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for Lexington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-11.
Rogers will head out on the road to square off against the Bulldogs at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lexington, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Yoemen at 6:15 p.m. C.H. Yoe is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
